I'd like to see something depicting the actual abuse when Tony is younger, or something dealing with Tony's recovery/trauma later on in his life, post-Iron Man (2008). If you go for writing future fic where Tony is looking back on his abuse and you want to write him in a currently healthy relationship, I'd prefer him to be romantically shipped with Pepper, Peter, or Rhodey. I also like gen where he has close friendships with Pepper, Peter, Rhodey or Happy.
